A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available supporting K-12 students across four schools in the Atlanta area. This contract role spans the current school year, starting January 12, 2026, through May 22, 2026, with a typical 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. The role requires providing therapy services to children aged 5-18, addressing their developmental and functional needs within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students in four assigned schools.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess student needs and progress, documenting all therapy services accurately and timely.
- Adapt therapy plans and techniques to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- Participate in team meetings, providing consultation and training to staff as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school teams.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively across multiple locations.
